MUSINGS
I made a bill collector speechless on Thursday.  She called me at work and immediately started to chew me out for not paying US Bank over $400 in fees from when they overdrew my account by less than $5 over three years ago.  So I blew her ass out of the water.  Told her that I didn't owe the bank a damn thing because I tried to resolve it long ago with them but they were greedy and deliberately held back transactions so they could collect arbitrary penalty fees. And that the snowballing techniques and the fees that they charged were now illegal under the banking reform laws.  She sputtered that it would affect my credit.  I then laughed and said so what.  Everyone has bad credit now, including the US government itself.  I told her that the bank was under investigation for corporate fraud.  That she was violating the law by contacting me at work after I expressly said before to never do that.  And that she was probably going to lose her job soon anyway.  She stayed on the line for like a good minute before abruptly hanging up on me.  HA!
