Nick & Tony's Double Deckers on Urbanspoon
Nick & Tony's Double Deckers. New sandwich place on 405 Scott in Covington. I like them a lot better than the Subway that used to be there. They have a variety of sandwiches and wraps involving ham, corned beef and turkey as well as gyros, reubens, soups and salads. I like the fact that you don't have to go through the tiresome ordeal of answering 20 questions about what bread/dressing/toppings ya want. I've always hated that about sandwich places. I had a reuben and it was very yummy. They give you lots of meat. Don't skimp like Subway or cheat like Penn Station and bury it in giant bread. Big ole hearty servings at much more affordable prices than Izzys. The decor's a bit drab, with the dining room off to the side and isolated, but I don't mind, actually prefer it that way. My friends and coworkers have also had positive experiences, so I look forward to visiting more often. I've heard they have great bacon. Give ya lots of it and bake it instead of frying or microwaving it.
